Thanks for stopping by, if you like synth styles of music I'm sure there will be something here that might interest you.
To me electronic music is alot like science experiments, coming to conclusions and having unpredictable results. Alot of times
these unpredictable results can be the best possible conclusion. So from my science chair somewhere in the western
hemisphere I'll attempt to find these errors in judgement. Btw, theres nothing scientific about the chair, its just a
chair, actually kind of an ugly chair but its comfortable. Anyway, theres a healthy dose of unreality in the virtual synth rack
thats inside my computer box so creation is limited only by my own imagination. Sometimes the sounds will come from old
guitars or even old paint cans but the majority of the noises are triggered by my Oxygen keyboard controller and midi drumpads. I can list the vsti's and software effects I have in my system today but alot of the time its dynamic, changing as
I dream new stuff up. The main programs are basically there all the time so if you're interested in what I'm using you can
scan this over. The vsti rack on the right is close to my fav.

THE EXPERIMENTS in 192mp3

"Time is Running Out"  kind of a progressive rock track that turned into a soundtrack, an event horizon!

"The Bells of St. Kitty" hey don't laff, theres an actual cat in this, (that wasn't hurt), and theres bells, but there virtual, lol. Have
you ever heard distinct sounds through a maze of noise? Loosely based on that concept I tried to create that illusion.

"Communication" a while back my friend oid and I were wondering about communicating with some basic blips, to who is
really just a mystery until someone answers. I used all the toys to make it happen, but still no answer so I'm waiting patiently.

"Radio Science" funny I used the word science for this and its probably the least scientific of the bunch. While listening to a
friends internet radio show I started thinking about all these signals in cyberspace, I must have dozed off because the result
was kind of an ambient spacey thing that picked up sounds from strange sources.

"Figet" this one was an actual science experiment, complete with an oily disaster at the end. I was making a video, pouring
oil into a wine glass that was perched atop a lantern to see how the light was affected by the oil (virgin olive oil). Apparently
not much so I started squirting food colouring into the glass, now we were gettin something. The disaster came when I flew
to close to the sun and added alka seltzer to the mix.

"Elemental Dissonance" theres a beat at the end of this track with some wild effected guitar, almost funky, lol. As far as true
dissonance goes its probably kind of tame, thus the title.

"Dementia"  just like the name the track starts out in a haze of uncertainty, wobbly synth sounds with a strange percussive
background. Then theres a turn of darkness before I start the road back to reality with a more positive flow.

COLLAB CORNER

During my time on the net I've had the great privilege to work with some very talented musicians from around the globe.
Aside from experimenting strictly with synthesizers I like to try and arrange songs where I can play guitars/keys and
even sing, yuck! Theres a great satisfaction in getting other musicians to add their interpretation of a song rather than
always relying on what I can play. Heres a sampling of collab tracks I've done so far.

ArcticPassage  this was my 1st ever internet collab with nikos, a great guitarist and friend from Athens Greece. We're
both fans of progressive rock so it was really cool to do something together in a pink floyd kind of style.

Freak  Stu from Ireland was someone I met on a music forum. We came together to do a track that was umm,
to say the least..out there! stu's actually a fantastic bass player but loves to get noisey with things, lol. I decided
to add a rough vocal with a Reznor slant to it, which was basically yelling into the mic...ouch!

World Without Shadows  Pascal from Germany was putting together a CD and wanted me to collab on a track
he started. I ended up adding some guitar, slide effects, lyrics/vocals and produced it for him. Its on his new CD.

Hyway Assault  an oldy but goldy. A rock track I created with hyway#401 in mind, the worst part of driving to the
cottage. This seemed to make it faster, and yes, with my mic outside I recorded the truck engine bootin up. I was
collabing with Nigel Potter at the time and got him to help me out with some of his patented screamin slide guitar.
Wim added a bit of lead guitar work too. Still like to rock-out to this one, enjoy!!

My experimental video called "blurredVision"

Video I'm working on  for the song "Drive Me Crazy" with Jasmine Tea on vocals
